莫拉克風災肆虐南台灣，造成台灣這座美麗之島遭逢半世紀以來罕見的重大災情。民間目前自動發起的救災、賑災行動仍持續進行中，但更要緊的無疑是日後重建家園的漫長路途。值此關鍵時刻，身為藝術圈的一份子，略盡綿薄之力責無旁貸。為此，我們在最短的時間內，籌劃「藝起攜手‧重建家園」義賣活動，希望能徵集到百位藝術家作品，於8月22、23日兩天舉行展覽義賣，所得全數捐助災區重建之用。希望您能共襄盛舉，將溫暖傳遞到更多需要的人身上。
Typhoon Morakot has stroked south Taiwan seriously, caused the island drown into the ever greatest catastrophe in this half century. Now many rescues are in proceed by many NGOs in Taiwan, all we hope is the recovery from the disaster. At this moment, anyone relating to art circle has to show the power to support the preparation of recovery afterwards. Thus, there is going to have an Art Works Charity Vending in near future. The host hopes to gather more than 100 artists works to be sold on 22, 23 of August. All income will be donated for reconstruction of villages and homes of victims from the disaster. Come to join us and send your love to the people who need.
