Freedom Men was founded by Andy Yen in 2006 with 10 or so members under the earliest prototype of Freedom Men, the Freedom Men Painting Club. Through continuous member circulation, the Freedom Man has gradually evolved into today’s Freedom Men Art News in 2008, a non-profit internet art news resource platform.
In 2008, the Freedom Men has hosted the 2009 Freedom Men Creative Composition Recruitment Joint Exhibition. In addition to the members of the Freedom Men, the exhibition is also open to others for the application for exhibition at the Taoyuan Cultural Affairs Bureau. In June 2009, the Freedom Men Creative Composition Joint Exhibition has officially take place; aside from establishing the art image database, the Freedom Men has also regrouped and reappeared as Freedom Men Studio. The Freedom Men Studio will strive for its development in cross-field integration in addition to maintain Freedom Men Art News through our scrupulous core members.
In the future, Freedom Men Art News will be looked after by more and more common writers through the concept of joint operation and resource sharing. After continuous transformation, Freedom Men now takes a different form with more possibilities to provide an even more diverse and convenient space for artistic conversation through internet and blogs. Periodic exhibition, competition and art related news will be posted in effort to share artistic activities with friends from all around through the power of internet.
We provide a platform for artistic news sharing and hope to promote artistic creation through the power of internet. In the future, Freedom Men will do its best to continue operating and explore into different possibilities. We hope everyone that visit our site will gain something and understand the Freedom Men’s essence in sharing.
